Archie D'Cruz is a seasoned editor, writer and designer with intimate knowledge of Bahrain. He worked in Bahrain for six years in the Nineties, and visits the country at least once a year.

Archie's Canadian publishing and design firm, A Type Of Magic, has been behind the success of several books including all nine of The Visitor's Complete Guide series.

His creative talents can be seen in several major advertising projects, including those for American Express, Electronic Arts, Mirage Speakers, Zenith Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Mail Boxes Etc and Ace Hardware.
